EEO Trust Awards Finaist

Harbour Sport is proud to announce it was a finalist in the EEO Trust Work & Life Awards 2011. This prestigious award, in its 14th year, celebrates organizations that create environments in which people have flexibility and autonomy to meet their work/life commitments and responsibilities.

The Awards attracted over 45 entries, and were celebrated by 400 people at the Auckland Museum in August. The awards were presented by Acting Minister of Energy and Resources, the Hon Hekia Parata.
Philippa Reed, EEO Trust CEO and one of five award judges noted, “It is always such a hard task to select the winners – especially when the entries were all of such a high caliber as this year.”

Harbour Sport is honored to be a finalist and will continue to strive to excel by investing in their workforce, not only in the area of allowing flexibility and autonomy but in all areas to create a better workplace and ultimately a better organization serving the sport and recreation community in the Harbour region.
