Beach Haven
Hi, welcome to the Beach Haven Community Group. I am the groups co-ordinator, Alex. Looking to get active and meet new people from your area? Come on down to the Beach Haven Green Prescription Community Group.
The Beach Haven group is all about getting back into Physical Activity while having a good time socialising with others. The community group spends their time utilising the many great facilities in the area such as Sheppard’s Park, Beach Haven Sports Centre, Bush Walks, Glenfield Leisure Centre and many more. Education sessions around the importance of good Health, regular Physical Activity and positive Nutrition are also on offer to the group with many Health organisation providing informative talks.

Hi, welcome to the Northcote Community Group. I am the groups coordinator, Liz. Would youlike to...
1. Try a new or different type of physical activity?
2. Learn practical skills to help you live a healthier lifestyle?
3. Meet a wonderful bunch of supportive people?
Well then I encourage you to come to our Northcote Community Group. Held every Tuesday
from 10am until 11.30am at the Takapuna District Cricket Club on Northcote Road in
Takapuna. These fun filled sessions are facilitated by myself – Liz and occasionally with guest
speakers from the health/fitness industry.
You can expect to enjoy learning about good nutrition as well as experiencing an exciting
new physical activity each week. We are a friendly and supportive community group and would love to have you come and join in on the fun. See you there!
