Special Olympics North HarbourSpecial Olympics North Harbour is a unique, multi-sports club on the Shore which provides weekly sport coaching, training and frequent competitive events for people with an intellectual disability. The club offers a range of sports to serve a wide range of ability and fitness levels and provides social interaction and opportunities, team spirit, self-esteem, personal growth – and enjoyment. Teenagers to 60+, across a wide ability range. The emphasis is on:

This is an Annual event with swimmers from Special Olyumpics clubs from Whangarei to Te Awamutu. Kenny Halliday, Sport Capability Team Leader, was on hand to help award the ribbons.
