School Club Links - Monday 26th May
Harbour Sport held their fourth workshop for 2010 focussing on School to Club links.
The workshop has also enabled 100% of the attendees to feel confident in applying the knowledge they gained to their own club. Examples of applications attendees are looking to make include allocating or appointing a school-club link person; preparing a detailed plan on how and when they will build and evaluate school-club links; and formally contact schools to initiate a link.

Manage and Retain Volunteers - Monday 24th May
Harbour Sport held the third Club Support Workshop for 2010 focussing on Retaining and Managing Your Volunteers.
25 people from 14 clubs within the North Harbour Region walked away with a Volunteers Work Plan outlining three key actions their club could carry out in the areas of retention, recruitment and management of their volunteers as well as having the opportunity to network with other sports on current developments impacting on their clubs.
