Engaging the Chinese and Korean community in sport

Asian Sport Engagement Model (ASEM) Click Here

In 2010 the Asian Sport Engagement Model (ASEM) was developed by the ActivAsian team at Harbour Sport. The ASEM is an audit tool to support Regional Sports Organisations and clubs to better engage with Asian communities.  It is a check list with a brief explanation supporting each point. The check list can:

  • provide an indication of areas where a sport is already taking positive steps to proactively engage an ethnic community
  • highlight areas for sports to consider focussing on.
